I just got word that my only brother and sibling, Todd Nugent, was dying today of pancreatic cancer down in Florida, at just 59.
.
It is all part of the tragic story of my family, with its Deep State and MK-ULTRA connections against which I rebelled by running away from home in 1964 at age ten.

Todd was always funny, charismatic, had tons of friends, male and female, and yet was in total denial about all the things I was saying, acted happy-go-lucky, but was miserable inside.
.
He had had a drug and money problem that was typical of people fleeing something awful and dreadful in their childhood.
.
His leg always jiggled, he twirled his hair constantly, and he told me in 2003 by phone that he had constant nightmares, “oh, hell, every night,” but he was also sure “nothing ever happened to us as kids.”

In pseudo-happier times, in 2007 at my father’s 80th, with me and Todd upper left, back row (and Margi lower right).

Todd’s Facebook page reflected his eternal “don’t worry, be happy” mantra. 🙂
