Dear owner of R’s:
I have enjoyed many meals and convivial chats at your establishment over the last six months. However, I wish to draw your attention to the repeated and worsening misbehavior of one of your employees, which prevented me from spending at least a thousand dollars at your bar-restaurant, “R[],” from 2014-2019. I have taken my business, and generous tipping, several times a week to either Lynn’s/Northwoods Café, or Syl’s (or occasionally the Pitstop), where I have been treated very well, for six years now since I and my mate moved here from Pittsburgh.
Although I have at all times been unfailingly polite and friendly to everyone, patron or staff, at R[]’s, a certain “H[]” there has taken it upon herself to verbally accost me, very loudly, and in the presence of staff and patrons, on three occasions this month.
And back in 2014 she did so as well outside S[]’s. Since 2014 I have avoided R[]s except for the last half-year, when I got to know J[] and his wife M[], whom I like and respect very much.
H[] displays all the political viewpoints and the behavior traits and attitudes of a hard-core, violence-prone leftist, an Antifa. Antifa (short for “antifascist” – which is anyone they disagree with, including gun owners) often carry communist flags at demonstrations, physically harass Trump voters returning to their cars, smash their windshields and slash their tires (as happened in Minneapolis on October 11, 2019), and harass other conservatives as well.
They hit people, often from behind, with sticks, their fists, and the lock end of a steel bicycle lock, or a bicycle chain, or a hard bar of soap inside a sock, state-prison-style.
Nikolas Cruz, who murdered 17 white kids on Ash Wednesday at Parkland High School in Florida on February 14, 2018 (while law enforcement did basically nothing, leading to the sheriff, (((Steve Israel))), being removed by the outraged governor), was an open sympathizer with Antifa and communism. Note the flag and leftist fist gesture. (Repeatedly LE had been warned about him.)
And Antifa have the un-innocent and arrogant pastime of publicly “shaming” – yelling at and insulting in public (with vile epithets) all Americans who dare to disagree with them.
Ironically it was someone who seems to agree with H[] politically, G[], whose cell phone she grabbed from him and threw across River Street, breaking it.
M[] was so enraged he punched her on the back of the head, as he told me himself. H[] did not press charges, not wishing her unprovoked, malicious theft and destruction of property to come out.
The most recent incident, Sunday evening, 25 February, in the presence of J[], was the final straw. After two previous, recent incidents where H[] called me a “white supremacist,” one in front of another patron, who was trying to eat his burger and looked very uncomfortable, rolling his eyes, she lit into me again Sunday in the presence of two female patrons, calling me a “white supremacist,” an “old man,” a “pussy,” and recommended I “get a job.”
At 65, after a lifetime of hard work, I found that especially ridiculous as well as uncalled for. As a Marine, far from being a “pussy,” I also did more than my share of very unpleasant things.
It is an especial trait of the Antifa mindset that they tell each other, to heighten their willingness to commit violence without trepidation, that anyone who disagrees with them, especially the hated and constantly denounced “aging white male” (the beneficiary of an imaginary “white privilege”) is a “pussy.”
This employee’s technique is basically bullying customers. Her goal is for me to no longer be your customer.
I obviously cannot make any plans to return to R[]’s, sir, unless she has been disciplined or terminated. And I will advise my friends to do likewise.
I will add finally, and I said this fact Sunday to H[] — the only time I have ever debated her at all, and without once insulting her personally in the slightest — that one reason why this town and the UP attract tourists and new residents is, in fact, its lack of so-called “diversity.”
I have talked with dozens of people in this town and visiting snowmobilers who hate what has happened to their home cities of Detroit, Flint, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Chicago after integration and subsequent crime waves.

I suggested to H[] she propose to the Village Council that we bring up a thousand blacks from Flint to improve this town, and asked her how her proposal would go over with our fellow residents of Ontonagon.
Interestingly, H[] used to complain herself, “MeToo”-style, about black men in the Air Force coming on to her and not taking no for an answer. It is a sign of her ideological fanaticism that, despite being victimized by blacks herself, and despite choosing to have a white boyfriend, C[], an Army Iraq vet, and a white child (or children), now she wants “die-versity” for Ontonagon, which this town discreetly does not. And she does not believe in freedom of speech for others, because she is Antifa herself.

Atually, I worked many regular jobs: paperboy from age 10 to 14, and later as a college student (56 customers), window washer, janitor, shipping clerk, salesman, teacher, Marine, Army National Guard, steam carpet cleaner, bindery worker, proofreader, writer, voice-over, audiobook recorder, and grass cutter — five lawns a week every summer since 2014 — while the likes of you sits there on your fat gluteus maximus and types slander for pay.

1. HONORABLE DISCHARGE:
I am happy to dig out and publish my DD-214. Actually, I have never heard of anyone recently doubting my Marine Corps Reserve Service or honorable discharge. I made corporal (E-4) in one year, then my politics prevented further promotions.
As you can see, my DD-214 shows an honorable discharge:
Anyway, by using the Freedom of Information Act, a major in the Marine Corps Reserve, William Fox, already obtained my papers.
It was a discharge to another branch, to the Virginia Army National Guard, where in 1981 under infantry captain John Holt I made sergeant (E-5) and was “Guardsperson of the Year” for 1980.

2. INCOME TAX
As for filing income tax, there is no requirement to file federal or state income tax if single, as I am, and income was less that $12,200 a year, which has been the case with me.

My income, if that is even the right word, has been early-retirement Social Security since August 2016, now about $740 a month, though lately it has been more due to my being her Michigan-approved cancer caretaker.
Gifts, which are not income, amount to around $400 or so a month, and do not enable any Hollywood lifestyle, but merely aid me in paying my monthly website bills and other expenses, such as caring for my significant other, Margaret, who is recovering from what was terminal throat cancer, thanks to the Mayo Clinic and additional natural therapies. These therapies are all out of my pocket.
Many people know me in Ontonagon after six years here, and they know my lifestyle. Until the recent lockdown, it was an occasional burger without fries at Roxey’s (left) and a few drinks at the Shamrock (right). Hardly the “Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous.” 😉
I drove a 24-year-old 1996 Crown Victoria with a deer-damaged left headlight back when I could afford Michigan car insurance, which has been only for about a year total out of the last six years I have been here. The deer damage is still unfixed because I have lacked the funds.
