Mafioso: Vatican Bank laundered Mafia’s La Vegas money; Pope John Paul I murdered for objecting

Spread the love

The world was stunned in 1979, when after just 33 days, Pope John Paul I, a charismatic, warm, good-looking and friendly Pope who was in good health died very, very, VERY suddenly.

Luciani had replaced the sinister and dour Paul VI (a likely crypto-Jew who had rammed through the evil Vatican II Council, which turned the Roman Catholic Church from antisemitic — Jews as Christ-killers and enemies of the faith — to philosemitic, fawning over jews as “our elder brothers in the faith” and deleting all saints who as children had been ritually murdered by blood-drinking Jews.)

It was under Paul VI that a horrific auditorium was built that looked reptilian inside and out.  (See below.)

Pope John Paul I’s death remains a point of contention even 40 years later.

Pope John Paul I, then Albino Luciani, at his ordination ceremony.

In 1978, Pope Paul VI died. As is Vatican custom, the College of Cardinals went into the conclave and began to decide who would be the next pope. It was the largest papal conclave in history and the first since 1721 in which three future popes participated. After the fourth ballot was submitted, Cardinal Albino Luciani was elected as the next Bishop of Rome.

Despite the fact that he had repeatedly claimed he would refuse the papacy, should it be offered to him, Luciani accepted the position and assumed the name Pope John Paul I. “May God forgive you for what you have done,” he said upon his acceptance. His words would hang eerily over his papacy, as just 33 days later, the College would be holding their second conclave of the year after Pope John Paul I died suddenly and under increasingly mysterious circumstances.

The Smiling Pope

When Pope Paul VI died, the College of Cardinals hoped that they would find a friendlier one than he had been. They hoped the new pope would be more approachable, and give the papacy a warmer air than it had given off in the past.

They got their wish with Pope John Paul I. Dubbed “the Smiling Pope” by his people, and known for his humor and good-natured attitude, John Paul I (also the first to refer to himself as “the first”) became an instant favorite, especially amongst the younger members of the Catholic church.

However, rumors quickly arose that there was discontent about the choice within the College of Cardinals. Some rumors suggested that certain members of the college had pushed for a more conservative voice, and were unhappy with such a modern, open candidate. Others suggested that Pope John Paul I wasn’t “papabile,” or didn’t have the personal qualifications for the job.
Nonetheless, the first few weeks of John Paul I’s papacy went smoothly and were without incident.

The Death Of Pope John Paul I

On the morning of Sept. 29, 1978, Sister Vicenza entered the pope’s room to check on him, after noticing that he had yet to come out for his morning coffee. To her horror, she found him dead in his bed. She quickly summoned another sister to confirm what she’d found, a younger nun named Sister Margherita. Both nuns reported that the pope’s skin was cold and that his nails were surprisingly dark. The official report claimed that Pope John Paul I was found “lying in his bed, with a book opened beside him, and the reading light on.” The official cause of death, according to a Vatican doctor, was a heart attack, occurring around 11 p.m.

Conspiracy Theories

However, before the report was released conspiracy theories started swirling. Within hours, based on inconsistencies in reports, rumors that he had been sick began surfacing, along with talk that he had been in the midst of a revolution. The most outlandish rumors stated that he had been murdered.

Almost immediately after the announcement that he had died from a heart attack, people began to doubt it. He had never given any indication that he had been sick, and even the nurses who discovered him were shocked to learn that he’d had a heart condition. He had allegedly been taking anticoagulants, though they were being taken for a non-life-threatening illness. The more that a heart attack was touted, the less the public believe it.

Of course, in line with Vatican law, an autopsy was never performed. After death, pope’s bodies are allowed to be embalmed, though autopsies are considered a desecration of the body and thus illegal.

Pope John Paul I’s tomb in St. Peter’s Basilica.

The fact that the body was never autopsied resulted in dozens of conspiracy theories about the legitimacy of his heart condition surfacing.

Due to previous rumors that he had been unliked by the more conservative Cardinals, whispers that the pope had been assassinated began to surface. However, one of the most compelling claims came a few years after and went even deeper than discrepancies among his fellow Cardinals.

A few years after his death, British crime writer David Yallop published a book titled In God’s Name which suggested that Pope John Paul I had been murdered, and had been in danger ever since he was elected.
Yallop claims that the pope was aware of corruption within the Vatican Bank and that that was the reason he was killed. He states that when the pope’s body was found, he’d had a note crumpled in his hand with the names of bank members that were involved in Freemasonry, which is strictly banned within the Catholic Church.

While the Vatican Bank was, without a doubt, corrupt, there was no evidence that the bank’s staff was involved in Freemasonry. Still, Yallop continues to point out that the Vatican has never confirmed or denied the existence of the note. Today, the official cause of death remains a heart attack, though rumors continue to swirl around the Smiling Pope, his unusually short papacy, and his mysterious and unsolved death.

He played Carlo Rizzi, the husband of Connie Corleone, who set her brother Sonny-played by James Caan—up for a hit. Russo didn’t have to act—he knew the mob inside and out: from his childhood in Little Italy, where Mafia legend Frank Costello took him under his wing, to acting as a messenger for New Orleans mob boss Carlos Marcello duringthe Kennedy assassination, to having to go on the lam after shooting and killing a member of the Colombian drug cartel in his Vegas club.

Along the way, Russo befriended Frank Sinatra, who became his son’s godfather, and Marlon Brando, who mentored his career as an actor after trying to get Francis Ford Coppola to fire him from The Godfather. Russo had passionate affairs with Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minelli, and scores of other celebrities. He went on to become a producer and starred in The Godfather: Parts I and II,

In the spring of 1978, I was summoned to [top Chicago mobster] Tony Accardo’s palatial home in Chicago.

Accardo was the boss of the Outfit [the Chicago mob], and when he called, I dropped what I was doing—which in my case wasn’t much— and flew to the Windy City [ = Chicago].

*** JdN on Accardo and all photos and explanations that follow have been added by me.

***

Accardo’s home was beautiful, complete with a bowling alley. Present at the meeting was my friend Nick Nitti, and an Alitalia airline pilot, who was introduced to us as Captain Ferrara.

Accardo was a very cordial, polite person, and in his position, he didn’t have to be. He was also a very good cook, and he prepared a lavish meal for us before getting down to business in his soundproofed den. The mob made tons of money—no surprise there—but it couldn’t be spent initially because it didn’t have a legitimate history. The purpose of the meeting was to explain a new venture that would launder the illicit cash and make it spendable.

Accardo laid out a money-laundering operation that was international in scope, using the Vatican Bank in Rome as a conduit for the mob’s ill-gotten Las Vegas gains.

“Gianni,” Accardo said, “I want you and Nick to be couriers to the Vatican Bank. You’ll be carrying the Vegas skim on Alitalia, on flights

flown by our friend here”—he noddcd to Ferrara—“and delivered to Rome.”

He went on to explain the details. The circulated, well-worn Vegas money would be exchanged for new, uncirculated hundred-dollar bills through Perry Thomas, a senior executive of the Valley Bank, which had branches in Nevada. These crisp new bills would be bundled tightly and transported by Nick and me in two engineer bags, which were about twenty-four inches in length.

At least four million dollars could be jammed into the two bags, and we’d be making the trip at least twice a month. With Accardo’s influence, we would be able to obtain govcrnment-courier licenses under assumed names to smooth things out at airports should problcms arise. No one bothered to ask for our passports because we had the Courier licenses, or maybe someone was greased to allow us through; I never found out which. This was long before the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and enactment of the Patriot Act, which turned a spotlight on international travel. We would make so many trips to Rome under different names that I often forgot what name I was traveling under.

On the Rome end, we’d deliver the cash to Archbishop Paul Marcinkus, who ran the Vatican Bank. Marcinkus was an Illinois native and a friend of Accardo’s of many years standing.

Wikipedia:

Vatican bank tenure[edit]

Marcinkus was the president of the Institute for the Works of Religion, also known as the Vatican Bank, from 1971 to 1989. As early as April 24, 1973, Marcinkus was questioned in his Vatican office by federal prosecutor William Aronwald and Bill Lynch, head of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section of the United States Department of Justice, about his involvement in the delivery of $14.5 million worth of counterfeit bonds to the Vatican in July 1971, part of a total request of $950 million stated in a letter on Vatican notepaper.

His name and the letter had arisen during the investigation of an international gangster, who eventually served 12 years in prison. Marcinkus said “he considered the charges against him serious but not based enough on fact that he would violate the Vatican Bank’s confidentiality to defend himself…back in the States it was agreed on the highest levels that the case against Marcinkus could not be pursued any further.”[6]

In July 1982, Marcinkus was implicated in financial scandals being reported on the front pages of newspapers and magazines throughout Europe, particularly the collapse of the Banco Ambrosiano, in which Propaganda Due (aka “P2”), a Masonic Lodge, was involved (Marcinkus had been a director of Ambrosiano Overseas, based in Nassau, Bahamas, and had been involved with Ambrosiano’s chairman, financier Roberto Calvi, for a number of years). He also was involved with Michele Sindona, who had links with the Mafia.

Upon the election of Pope John Paul II in 1978, Marcinkus was promoted within the Vatican bank and remained in office for several years before the scandal widened, after the body of Calvi, whose Banco Ambrosiano had dealt with Marcinkus, was found hanging under London’s Blackfriars Bridge in June 1982. The death of Calvi was seen by some as symbolic because Propaganda Due referred to themselves as the Black Friars. Adding to the troubles, journalist Mino Pecorelli, who had been investigating Marcinkus, the Vatican Bank and ties to organized crime, was murdered in 1979.[7] Marcinkus himself was never charged with a crime.[8]

He stepped aside as head of the Vatican Bank soon after, with a board of laymen assuming control of the bank.[9] The Vatican eventually paid £145 million in a settlement with creditors, with Marcinkus observing in 1986 that: “You can’t run the Church on Hail Marys.” [10] Marcinkus later said that he was misquoted, what he actually said was: “When my workers come to retire they expect a pension; it’s no use my saying to them. ‘I’ll pay you 400 Hail Marys.”[11]

He resigned his position on October 30, 1990.

Criminal accusations[edit]

In 1984, Marcinkus was named by investigative journalist David Yallop in his book In God’s Name as a possible accomplice in the supposed murder of Pope John Paul I. Yallop made allegations regarding a number of suspects, involving the Mafia and Freemasonry.[12] In 2019, nephew of Lucky Luciano Anthony Raimondi claims he helped his cardinal cousin Paul Marcinkus killing the pope.[13]

In 2008, the case of a missing person was reopened with claims by Sabrina Minardi, a former girlfriend of the boss of the Banda della Magliana gang, Enrico De Pedis. She said that Emanuela Orlandi, daughter of a Vatican employee, was kidnapped on orders of Marcinkus to send a message, and was later killed.[14]

Later life and death[edit]

He returned to the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1990 before retiring to Arizona, where he lived as an assistant parish priest at St. Clement of Rome Church in Sun City. He declined to discuss his role in the Ambrosiano scandal. Archbishop Marcinkus died in Sun City, Arizona, aged 84, of undisclosed causes.[15][16][17]

Portrayals[edit]

Marcinkus was played by actor Rutger Hauer in the Italian film The Bankers of God. In Francis Ford Coppola‘s The Godfather Part III, actor Donal Donnelly portrayed Archbishop Gilday, a character based on Marcinkus

***

The archbishop would invest the money for the Outfit at a 5 percent return, keeping 15 percent of that as the Church’s end, which was on the high side for money launderers. Normally, it was around 6 percent, depending on the amount, and I was also sure that the 5 percent return on our money was only a portion of what the Church was actually making on the millions of dollars we gave the archbishop to invest. If we were gangsters, what was the Church? Both business models sounded similar to me.

The archbishop had been Accardo’s buddy for years, and he offered a higher rate of return than would Swiss banks, which were the banks of choice for years for those wishing to hide income. Swiss banks, however, would offer 1 percent negative interest, meaning the money would be skimmed by the Swiss for the convenience of using their

page 188

188
HOLLYWOOD GODFATHER
services.

A bank customer would actually lose money, but it was safer than hiding the cash in mayonnaise jars and burying them in your backyard, and it kept you off the IRS’s radar, which was worth the small fee. The Swiss would throw you a bone if you deposited really large amounts, offering a push—no interest charged or given—or maybe 1 or 2 percent on the plus side if the deposits were huge. In the world of illicit money transfers, our eight million dollars a month wouldn’t fit that definition.

The major upside of the plan was that the Vatican was on our side; they’d been sympathetic to the mob for years and could be trusted, and the Swiss were just conducting business. In our world, friendship trumped business relationships any day. If the Swiss were called on the carpet by the U.S. government, they’d fold like a circus tent in a hurricane. No one would question the authority and power of the Catholic Church, although there have been investigations over the years delving into the Vatican’s business practices. The investigations snagged a sloppy private banker or two, but the Vatican always emerged unscathed.

In case you’re wondering, we were told that the Pope [Paul VI, the IMO crypto-Jew] was on board with the fiscal shenanigans.

This, however, wouldn’t always be the case, as I’ll explain shortly. I. came to realize that those affiliated with the Catholic Church, long my savior and respite in hard times, were gangsters in their own right. Since there are bad people in any business— and the Catholic Church is a business—I accepted the fact, and it didn’t have an effect on my strong religious beliefs. I was still attending Mass several times a week (even having it written into my contract that I could do so when I appeared in The Godfather), and continue to do so to this day.

Italian customs officials were involved, too. Nick and I would sail through their checkpoints like we were red passport-carrying ambassadors. Archbishop Marcinkus was on hand to meet us in Rome most of the time. He’d send his limo with a priest chauffeur, and two additional priests as security, to the airport to pick us up. I’m assuming the

page 189

INTERNATIONAL MONEYMAN

priests were armed. I would never see any weapons, although they could’ve hidden rifles under their ankle-length garb.

Marcinkus was in his mid-fifties, slight of build, and spoke very little English to us. Most every conversation was in Italian. I remember one time as we handed over the cash-laden bags to him, he said in English, “We turn a blind eye.” One gangster talking to his American counterparts.

The operation grew bigger and the Outfit also began using Alitalia pilots as couriers, but only when Nick and I were otherwise engaged in other mob business.

We would stay overnight in a palatial suite at the Ambasciatori Hotel in Rome and fly home the next day. Naturally, there were no U.S. Customs problems on the return trip because we returned empty-handed.
I met Pope Paul VI on one trip, which was indeed an honor, and had a photo taken with him, which I have proudly and prominently displayed in my home to this day.

I was back in the States for only a short period of time after the picture was taken when the news broke worldwide that Pope Paul VI had died of natural causes.

Out of respect, on August 12, 1978, Nick and I flew back to Rome for the funeral and stayed for the inauguration of the new Pope, John Paul I.

Pope John Paul I, known as the smiling pope, is pictured at the Vatican in 1978. He served one of the shortest papacies — 34 days. Born Albino Luciani, he was the cardinal of Venice, Italy, when he was elected pope Aug. 26, 1978. He died Sept. 28. (CNS file photo/L’Osservatore Romano) (Sept. 26, 2012) See JPI-CAUSE Sept. 26, 2012.

We assumed it was going to be business as usual for the moneylaundering business, just a changing of the guard, so to speak, but I was very much mistaken.

I noticed a mood of doom and gloom among Accardo and other mob higher-ups about a week after we returned from the funeral and inauguration. There was a lot of hushed talk, and many of the bosses suddenly became “unavailable,” which to me meant that there was a major meeting of the Commission somewhere off the grid. The last time the bosses had gone into whispered conversation mode and vanished from their usual haunts was prior to President Kennedy’s assassination. Something big was about to happen and it wasn’t going to be good.

page 190

HOLLYWOOD GODFATHER

We also didn’t make our next scheduled trip back to Rome. “Were gonna hold off for a while,” a representative of Accordo’s told us.

About three weeks after Pope John Paul 1 was inaugurated, he died in his sleep. The official cause of death was a heart attack.

The world— not only Catholics—was shocked; the Pope’s death was the main topic of conversation on every television news channel. People were talking about it on the street and special Masses were being held in the Pope’s honor.

Nick and I flew back to Rome for the funeral, our second for a Pope in little over a month. There was an air of despondency at the Vatican, as was to be expected, but there was also secrecy emanating from Archbishop Marcinkus and his bank officials. No one in the Pope’s inner circle was saying anything about the circumstances under which the new Pope had died.

Conspiracy theories abounded when we returned home: The Russians killed the Pope, the CIA did it, and other such theories, which just got more insane as time passed.

In our world, people began to talk. The story was that the new Pope hadn’t gone along with the money-laundering scheme; he’d been adamant about not continuing it. A decision had been made on our end by the Commission that the Pope had to go; there was just too much money involved to end what we had going. The Vatican hierarchy had agreed. What’s hard for the average person to wrap his head around is someone ordering a hit on a sitting Pope, but I believed that’s exactly what had happened.

The word on the street was that the Pope had been given a hot shot of an untraceable drug and died instantly.

If the Mob could murder the president of the United States [ [JdN: yes, the Mafia was part of the conspiracy, the main ingredients of which were however  Israel and Vice President Lyndon Johnson] of many parties that , is it such a big leap to have a Pope killed? My belief was supported by the temporary halt in courier flights to Rome after the new Pope had been inaugurated. The Mob is all about money and power; they don’t care who you are. If you stand in their way, you’re history. There was just

page 191

INTERNATIONAL MONEYMAN
191

too much money at stake to walk away from the operation. Immediately after the funeral, our trips to Rome resumed.

I stayed with the courier runs for five years, then gave them up, lucrative as they were. I figured my luck would run out sooner or later, the gravy train cut short by either the feds or the Mob. I had survived for years by not being greedy. It was time to move on.

Especially important blogs

…….Psychopaths end up taking over everything

I wrote this article (in its first version) way, way back in 2006:

https://johndenugent.com/english/they-hacked-my-psychopaths-in-power-article-here-it-is-again/

I remember how much Martha Stout’s book impacted me. (She has a PhD from US Berkeley and was a professor at Harvard Medical School, btw.)

Suddenly it hit me: My God, over time these people — with their infinite ability to lie without shame, and their ruthless backstabbing of even their best friends, will rise to the top of EVERYTHING.

In other words, no matter how much the Roman Catholic Church was originally known for selfless and loving individuals who even prayed for their enemies, it was inevitable that psychopaths take it over because it can be twisted into a road to mental, financial and sexual power over others.

Being eaten by lions or crucified and burned alive hardly benefited the early Christians.

But later on, Christianity became the state  religion of the Roman Empire, then of every kingdom in Europe, and the Church itself began burning people  alive. This Inquisition attracted psychopaths (who are sadists by nature) to join the Church, just as celibacy encouraged homosexuals and pedophiles to join the priesthood. A main motive for joining ISIS was not to study the Koran but to torture, burn  and behead innocent people, and many ISIS soldiers, as terrorism  experts have learned, are literally former common criminals:  drug dealers, thieves, rapists and murderers.

And this psychopathy and ruthless, sadistic ego is what I had objected to in David Duke and in his partner in crime for many decades, Don Black. They would never view and welcome me as a comrade-in-arms, but only as THEIR rival, their competition for prominence (and, let us not forget, for donations) in the rather tightwadded WN cause.

So of course they would attack me on the same day (what a “coincidence”….) the feds under new President Barack Obama arrested my assistant, Henrik Holappa, and they deleted the largest thread in Stormfront history, my “Apocalypse of the Psychopaths” with 264,000 views.

Obama himself had had three gay black men in his Chicago church murdered in the autumn of 2007 who knew too much about his homosexual activities. (Yes, this was in that “God-Damn-America” churchof “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright.)

Later, in January 2011, he had a blond mother of three burned to death — in her BMW — in her own garage — who knew about the gay orgy townhouse on Capitol Hill where Obama cavorted along with his buddy Rahm Emanuel — Illinois congressman, White House chief of Staff and then mayor of Chicago).

https://johndenugent.com/if-sending-cash-wrap-it-in-aluminum-my-war-on-obama-and-his-on-me/

One can make a case that psychopaths are “superior” — in the short term — to normal people, because they will do literally ANYTHING to get ahead and keep their power.

(In the long term, society collapses, of course, as we are seeing now, when psychopathic parasites who love to destroy things become the main element in society.)

Once any institution, whether a religion, political party, corporation or police department, becomes infested at the top with psychopaths, internal reform becomes impossible. Everyone has dirt on everyone else. If a Catholic priest exposes his bishop as  a child molester, the bishop has dirt on him as well as a queer.

The cardinals have dirt on the Pope, and vice versa.

Same with the FBI and CIA — they are too far gone, too honeycombed with psychopaths who can mutually blackmail each other to reform themselves.

Now, the Vatican, as an organization the Jews especially hate, has been the most jew-infiltrated and the most jew-corrupted.

But who is behind the Jews?

I will leave you with this mind-blowing blog:

UPDATED Reptilian gloating all over huge Paul VI papal audience hall in Rome; black-magic principle of warning the victim; Book of Enoch: some “humans” are incarnated demons

.

.

…..What to do about psychopaths?

Actually, it is easy.

Give’m a brain scan.

Cocky, contemptuous, smirking assholes, though they may hide it with charm and a smile.

But their actions and their brain scans betray them.

Massive areas of  blue — no feeling at seeing a large, colored  photograph of a real, dead mother in child after a car wreck

In a normal person, large areas light up red, showing compassion

Again, normal person then psychopath

From the side: normal and psychopath

Again:

Let one million German soldiers slowly starve to death to butter up the Jews so he could someday be president:

Let Stalin take the entire eastern half of Germany over the objections of General Patton

The solution is obvious:

No one with a psychopathic brain scan can be in charge of anything or anyone.

Tony Blair
