Let’s be honest here. President Trump’s chances of holding the office of the American Presidency for a second term are looking fragile at best. Although there are still a few pathways to victory, it’s going to be an uphill struggle, requiring a monumental effort to fend off both the Deep State and mainstream media colluding with one another to take out the best President this country has had in centuries.
.
Although President Trump is possibly but 2 months away from being forced out via a domestic “color revolution”, the fact remains that Mr Trump has well over 100 million die-hard supporters in the country and literally hundreds of millions of fans across the world, as evidenced by the fact that he just won nearly 80 million votes!
.
These are people that rest on his every word and truly believe in him, whether some of you think it is warranted or not. Not since General Washington have we had a President whom people are willing to lay down their lives for.
.
Over the past few days, I’ve spent a good deal of time communicating with my GOP contacts in the Midwest and Prairie regions of the country and have heard the notion that Trump is mulling the idea of launching a “multi-faceted” media network — come February IF he is removed from office — bandied about on more than a half dozen occasions.
.
The fact that half of the nation, including about 20% of Democrats – as per a recent AP poll – believe that President Trump is being cheated, means that people WILL want to hear what he has to say once his time in office is over.
.
Trust me, the man is not going anywhere.
.
Then there are his kids who have seen their business ventures all but collapse because of their association with their dad, as well as the key roles they’ve held within the President’s administration. They could make careers for themselves as broadcasters and producers of the channel.
.
Creating a multi-media platform where conservatives and nationalists – Trump in fact referred to himself as a nationalist early on in his first term – can speak freely, and from which the President can continue to reach his base, will not only be profitable financially, but enable Mr Trump to remain in the spotlight ahead of a potential 2024 White House bid.
.
“I think every option is on the table for the President to launch both a social media and traditional broadcast media company, to him announcing he’s running for president the day he leaves, is in the cards,’ said a Republican official who has taken part in meetings with Trump campaign advisers.
.
In fact, it was reported by the UK’s Daily Telegraph print edition that President Trump held a meeting with key campaign advisers a few months back, where the team in fact discussed the technology needed for a conservative version of Twitter and how the actual platform behind Twitter would be easy to mimic.
.
With a small investment of a few million dollars.  Remember Twitter was launched by students on a shoestring budget. How hard can it be to copy that?
.
As per Wikipedia,
.
“Twitter’s origins lie in a “daylong brainstorming session” held by board members of the podcasting company Odeo. Jack Dorsey, then an undergraduate student at New York University, introduced the idea of an individual using an SMS service to communicate with a small group. The original project code name for the service was “twttr”, an idea that Williams later ascribed to Noah Glass, inspired by Flickr and the five-character length of American SMS short codes. The decision was also partly due to the fact that the domain twitter.com was already in use, and it was six months after the launch of “twttr” that the crew purchased the domain and changed the name of the service to Twitter. The developers initially considered “10958” as a short code, but later changed it to “40404” for “ease of use and memorability”. Work on the project started on March 21, 2006, when Dorsey published the first Twitter message at 9:50 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST): “just setting up my twttr”.[Dorsey has explained the origin of the “Twitter” title: “We came across the word ‘twitter’, and it was just perfect. The definition was ‘a short burst of inconsequential information,’ and ‘chirps from birds’. And that’s exactly what the product was.”
.
These vile men, now blatantly undermining our democracy and censoring our duly elected President, are now worth billions of dollars – despite never building anything concrete or of actual value in their worthless lives.
.
Unlike heroes like Henry Ford or even Donald Trump – men who BUILT actual products – Twitter is little more than a series of codes and graphics that found success, in spite of the fact the founders were unknown students at the firm’s founding.
.
Imagine what the most well-known and influential man on the planet – a man whom people actually WANT to hear from – would be able to do with a social media platform he owns.
.
The only thing I could see creating problems for the President would be an across-the-board corporate boycott  which would mean advertising dollars – how Twitter generates most of its income – might prove hard to come by.
.
Although a number of apps and “alt-tech social networking” firms have already launched as conservative, free-speech alternatives to Twitter – including Gab, Parler, and MeWeb – they have thus far been unable to make the sort of inroads a Trump platform could foreseeably make, due in large part to the fact they struggle selling advertising.
.
Parler has gained the most traction, almost tripling its membership to about 9 million souls since the November 3rd election. This, though, has been due in large part to it being mentioned by the sorts of people who would be in on this new venture and therefore the platform’s main competitor.
.
The fact remains that Parler’s market share is at best a tiny fraction of Twitter’s 187 million daily active users. This means there’s a massive space for Trump to occupy. Conservatives need “safe spaces,” too!
.
And why wouldn’t President Trump feel compelled to do so?
.
Twitter has all but threatened to BAN him once/if he is removed from office. A spokesperson for Twitter, in fact, told the IB Times that as President Trump “will be subject to the same rules as any other user”, so “nothing is off the table.” Sounds like a threat to me!!
.
The comical “rules” the spokesperson was referencing include “bans on inciting violence and posting false information about voting or the coronavirus pandemic”.
.
Will something as fundamental as standing up for one’s rights or organizing a peaceful protest constitute violence and therefore be a bannable “offense” in the years to come?
.
I expect so.
.
Big Tech has, though, already been censoring us for years now, taking down our accounts and telling us our voices are “dangerous” because we choose to speak our minds.
.
And it is not like the President has been immune from their bias.
.
From censoring the President of the United States for daring to report substantiated claims of election fraud, to literally shutting down the Twitter account of White House Press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, to Facebook’s banning of “Stop The Steal” – a Facebook group set up to challenge voter fraud that had almost 400,000 Facebook members when it saw its page “unpublished” by Zuckerberg’s authoritarian overseers last week – Big Tech has been undermining our democracy and stifling our ability to speak freely every chance they get.
.
As with the Democrat Party, social media honchos believe they occupy the moral high ground and therefore have the RIGHT to curtail our constitutional right to express our thoughts, beliefs and opinions.
.
The President has been relatively fortunate as he has been, in a way, shielded from being TOTALLY shut down – because he is a head of state. (Can you believe we are talking about a democratically elected American President being fortunate to be enough to able to speak his piece freely? This, friends, is the America in which we reside.)
.
However, in the days following the election, many of Trump’s tweets disputing the results were hidden by the service, and could only be viewed by clicking on the warning
.
In order to right this egregious wrong, a new conservative Twitter makes perfect sense.
.
Whether a future service I can imagine could be called “Trumper” will allow our sort of message on their platform, of course remains to be seen.
.
There are also reports that President Trump has also been considering creating a brand new television news channel to rival Fox News after the vile Neocon mouthpiece showed its true colors the night of November 3rd.
.
Mr Trump has complained that Fox’s programming – apart from Hannity, Tucker (until about 24 hours ago when he’d seemingly been “gotten to” as well) and a few others – lacks a universal pro-Trump perspective. TTV, or Trump TV wouldn’t! Then there’s his history in television where he achieved monumental success hosting the number one program, “The Apprentice” which he hosted for fourteen seasons, until he announced he was running for President.
.
It also came to my attention this week that President Trump wanted at one stage to do a live daily radio program from the White House (WH), and that the idea advanced to the point where WH officials were deciding how to pull it off.  Ultimately, the idea was put on the back-burner because of serious logistical concerns such as the difficulty of blocking off a a full hour of the President’s time every day at the same time for the program.
.
Although initially this did not sit right with the President, he accepted that during the presidency having a weekly program was not going to be feasible.
.
Trump advisers also say that it is clear that once his legal challenges to the 2020 results are concluded, Trump will undoubtedly make a major move to remain in the game. He has already apparently been discussing announcing plans, possibly by the end of the year, to run for President again in four years in 2024.
.
Based on the media’s abuse of Trump for the past FIVE years, it stands to reason he will need his own channel if he wants any success at reaching the masses. He has the money, time, drive and most importantly for someone like President Trump – the inspiration – to accomplish this.
.
“He (President Trump) feels like he was cheated, and he wants to run again in a fairer election,” an adviser familiar with the President’s thinking told the Telegraph last week.
.
Such a move would not ensure a direct path to the Republican Party nomination however, as the never-Trumpers like Mitt Romney and John Kasich will have four years to malign him.
.
Then there’s the fact that running as a third-party candidate would prove catastrophic for the country – due to the fact that the Dems would pretty much win in a landslide with two “conservatives” on the ballot – but the opportunity will be there.
.
The Republicans who are expected run in 2024 include the current Vice President, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, Senators Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton, Trump Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, as well as Governors Ron DeSantis of Florida and Kristi Noem of South Dakota, amongst others.
.
If Trump had his own network, there’s no doubt in my mind it will make him money and increase the likelihood of his winning the Republican nomination – assuming he isn’t kicked out the party before then.
.
That too, through my contacts, has not only been discussed, but is still VERY much on the table. If Tucker Carolson can seemingly turn on you after being pressured, the Republican hacks running the GOP can as well.
.
All we can do at this juncture is wait and see what happens.
